Recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage, the Linh Son Thanh Mau Festival is an opportunity for people to show their reverence for Linh Son Thanh Mau, the highest spiritual symbol of the people of Southern Vietnam.
To celebrate the Linh Son Thanh Mau Festival, Ba Den Mountain Tourist Area announced a ticket price of only 200,000 VND per person for the cable car combo to the pagoda and the mountain peak, applicable after 5 PM from June 8th to 11th. This is an unprecedented ticket price at Ba Den Mountain, aimed at appreciating visitors and facilitating people’s attendance at the festival, especially participating in the largest lantern offering ceremony in Vietnam at the mountain peak area.
The grand lantern offering ceremony to celebrate the Linh Son Thanh Mau Festival, organized by the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Tay Ninh province and Sun World Ba Den Mountain Tourist Area, will take place on the evening of Saturday, June 8th (the 3rd of the fifth lunar month). This will be the largest lantern offering ceremony ever held in Vietnam, with 55,000 lanterns illuminating the entire Ba Den Mountain peak.

The lanterns are made by the staff of Sun World Ba Den Mountain Tourist Area, and Buddhists and visitors will personally write their wishes for peace and happiness to offer to Linh Son Thanh Mau Bodhisattva, a symbol of compassion and salvation for all beings.
