The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2024 is set to open on the evening of June 8th. With all the preparations, it is anticipated that the number of visitors and spectators will increase this year.
According to the organizers, DIFF 2024’s theme is “MADE IN UNITY: Connecting the World, Shining Across the Five Continents.” This theme aims to convey a message of a peaceful, friendly, and humane world, celebrating values that inspire the community.
This year, it is expected that the number of attendees and viewers of DIFF will be higher. Therefore, the stage design has been improved and expanded. The total stage area this year is approximately 1,260 square meters, 20% larger than in 2023, creating a grander performance space.
“Located on the east bank of the Han River – the riverside park area on Tran Hung Dao street, with a favorable location and large size, the DIFF 2024 stage is sure to make a strong impression on the audience. The main stage installations have been technologically improved with special effects, which is the highlight of this year’s DIFF stage,” said a representative of the organizing committee.
Along with these improvements, the preparation and construction of the fireworks stage this year demand high precision due to its special structure, with part of it extending into the river and another part on the shore. The stage construction team has meticulously prepared to create a specially designed hydraulic system with automation mechanisms, ensuring the best quality stage.

Additionally, the arch system for raising and lowering the background of the DIFF 2024 stage has been improved with a lower descent angle to optimize the audience’s viewing angle. Compared to 2023, the viewing angle from the riverside has been significantly improved, from 190 meters down to 100 meters, providing better conditions for the audience to enjoy the performances on stage.
Regarding ticket prices for DIFF 2024, the organizers revealed that in the first week of official ticket sales (diff.vn), with prices ranging from 800,000 VND to 3,000,000 VND across five grandstand categories, many travel agencies and tourists from both inside and outside the country have continuously booked tickets.
DIFF 2024 will feature eight teams, including seven international teams: France, Italy, USA, Germany, Poland, China, Finland, and the Da Nang – Vietnam team. Among them, three newcomers – the USA, Germany, and China – will participate and compete for the first time.
