The Travel magazine (Canada) has just recommended Vietnam as one of the top 10 must-visit destinations in East Asia, according to the Tourism Information Center under the National Administration of Tourism.

According to The Travel, Vietnam’s rich history, unique culture, and magnificent natural landscapes make it one of the most impressive destinations.
The magazine notes that Hanoi’s pho, the limestone islands of Ha Long Bay, Phong Nha Cave, and the waterways of the Mekong Delta are just a few of the many attractions awaiting tourists in Vietnam.
Previously, in January 2024, Traveloffpath – one of the largest travel information sites in North America – rated Vietnam as the safest country and one of the most attractive travel destinations in Asia for the 2024 travel season.
According to the National Administration of Tourism, the total number of international visitors to Vietnam in the first five months of 2024 reached nearly 7.6 million, an increase of 64.9% compared to the same period in 2023. Notably, the total number of international visitors in the first five months of this year increased by 3.9% compared to the pre-pandemic period, indicating a positive recovery for Vietnam’s tourism.
Total revenue from tourists in the first five months is estimated to reach VND 352,200 billion. In 2024, Vietnam’s tourism industry aims to welcome 17-18 million international visitors, serve 110 million domestic tourists, and achieve total tourism revenue of approximately VND 840,000 billion.
