From August 1, Hai Phong will adjust and increase the entrance fees for several tourist attractions on the Cat Ba Archipelago, Hai Phong. The highest fee is 650,000 VND per adult, which covers a tour of the bays within the Cat Ba Archipelago and a three-night stay.
According to the resolution of the Hai Phong City People’s Council issued on July 19, which outlines the regulations on the collection, management, and use of entrance fees for scenic spots in the area, seven landmarks will have their fees increased.
Specifically, the entrance fee for tours of the bays within the Cat Ba Archipelago will increase from 80,000 VND to 120,000 VND per adult, and from 40,000 VND to 60,000 VND per child.
For other attractions, the fee for Hoa Cuong Cave will rise to 30,000 VND per adult, Cat Ba National Park to 160,000 VND per adult; the central garden – Kim Giao peak – Ngu Lam peak – Trung Trang cave route will increase to 120,000 VND per adult; the Ninh Tiep field and Tien Duc cave route; and the Phu Long – Mangrove forest – Thien Long cave route will rise to 80,000 VND per adult; and Hon Dau Island to 20,000 VND per adult.

Additionally, the fees for visitors who tour and stay on the bays within the Cat Ba Archipelago will also be adjusted.
Specifically, visitors who tour the bays within the Cat Ba Archipelago and stay for one night will be charged 400,000 VND per adult and 300,000 VND per child. Previously, this route was priced at 300,000 VND per adult and 250,000 VND per child.
For visitors who tour the bays within the Cat Ba Archipelago and stay for two nights, the fee will be 600,000 VND per adult and 500,000 VND per child. For a tour and stay of three nights on the bays within the Cat Ba Archipelago, the new fee is 650,000 VND per adult and 550,000 VND per child.
Furthermore, Hai Phong will also apply free admission for certain cases such as delegations of delegates, city guests, people with severe disabilities, passengers not intending to tour, domestic transport route passengers, children under 6 years old, and students of city schools on annual extracurricular trips.
Additionally, the city will offer a 50% discount on entrance fees for individuals such as those benefiting from cultural policies, people with severe disabilities, the elderly, poor households, ethnic areas in difficult communes, scenic researchers, and students on extracurricular trips registered by their schools.
