The Ho Chi Minh City Water Festival 2023 officially opens today, August 4, and will run until the end of August 6, featuring various activities, including low-range fireworks over the Saigon River.
According to the schedule, from 7:00 PM to 7:40 PM on August 4 and 5, around 30 to 40 boats from different tourism units operating on the Saigon River will be adorned with splendid flower lanterns, parading along the riverbanks to promote the festival and river tourism in the city. The parade route will go from the Saigon Port to the tallest building in Vietnam – Landmark81.
On August 6, the Tourism Department of Ho Chi Minh City announced that the tourism parade will take place from 9:00 PM to 9:40 PM and will feature a five-minute display of low-range fireworks over the Saigon River.
