Building a glass bridge in Eo Gio eco-tourism area in Binh Dinh

On April 3rd, information from the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province stated that the province had approved the investment principle of the Eo Gio Eco-tourism Area project (Quy Nhon City), including the glass bridge component.

The Eo Gio Eco-tourism Area project is planned with various types of comprehensive tourism services, including sightseeing glass bridges, scenic viewing platforms, balcony viewing areas, restaurants, and other supporting services.

Eo Gio is one of the most famous spots in Binh Dinh

The expected area of the Eo Gio Eco-tourism Area is 10.44 hectares with a total initial investment capital of approximately 77.8 billion VND.

The project implementation period is 48 months from the date of decision to recognize the results of land use rights auction or approval decision of the investor. The completion of preparatory investment procedures should not exceed 12 months.

At the end of 2015, the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province proposed the implementation of the high-end eco-tourism resort project Eo Gio with a total investment capital of 1.6 trillion VND.

Since 2017, FLC Group has been constructing various components such as observation decks, concrete roads running along the rocky mountain range to the coast, entrance gates, and selling tickets to visitors at a price of 25,000 VND per person.

By 2022, the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board of Binh Dinh Province issued a document terminating the operation of the high-end eco-tourism resort project Eo Gio by FLC Group due to the failure to implement the project according to the registered schedule with the investment management agency.

The leadership of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board of Binh Dinh Province stated that the unit is currently undergoing procedures to auction the Eo Gio Eco-tourism Area project.
