Manhattan New York, October 14th, 2020. Borjigin International Foundation is being structured under the guidance of Steve Harold Jorchen-Borjigin. As the founder of Borjigin International Organization, Mr. Jorchen-Borjigin has over two decades of experience in international diplomacy and commerce.
The organization is to set to promote the cultural legacies of the Genghis Khan. The intercultural dialogue, cross-border commercial exchanges and education are the core issues advocated by the foundation.
The Borjigin family ruled over the Mongol Empire from the 13th to 14th century. The rise of Genghis (Chingis) narrowed the scope of the Borjigid-Kiyad clans sharply. After the breakup of the Golden Horde, the Khiyat continued to rule the Crimea and Kazan until the late 18th century.
They were annexed by the Russian Empire and the Chinese. In Mongolia, the Kublaids reigned as Khagan of the Mongols, however, descendants of Ögedei and Ariq Böke usurped the throne briefly. Much of the cultural and historical artefacts are created during Borjigin’s reign over the period, in which the linkage between Asia and Europe were strengthened.
Steve Harold Jorchen-Borjigin as one of the key offspring of family will thus carry on this noble agenda for reviving the legacy.
