On April 30th and May 1st, the whole country will have a 5-day holiday. It is predicted that there will be a significant increase in visitors to Con Dao, and many recreational activities and entertainments will be organized to attract tourists for unique experiences.
As part of this, on April 22nd, at the Con Dao Prison Relic Site, a special exhibition titled “Hoang Sa, Truong Sa – Sacred Seas and Islands” will open. On April 26th, there will be a visit to the Hang Duong Cemetery, Con Dao Temple, and Hang Keo Cemetery. Following this, on the morning of April 27th, at the Flagpole area (Ton Duc Thang Street), there will be a bicycle rally for environmental awareness. Later that evening, also at the Ton Duc Thang Street stage, there will be an artistic program commemorating the Liberation Day of the South and the Liberation of Con Dao. April 28th will feature a mountain climbing competition at Thanh Gia Mountain. On April 30th, there will be a boat racing and traditional boat assembling competition at Ton Duc Thang Street and the historic Cau Tau 914 site.
