Quang Nam launches smart travel software, self-scheduling for tourists

The Department of Information and Communications of Quang Nam province said that “Quang Nam’s smart tourism software system” will be officially opened at the first Regional Traditional Craft Festival on May 19.

Accordingly, in order to promote tourism events in 2022 in particular and Quang Nam province’s tourism industry in general, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with VNPT Quang Nam to build “Quang Nam province’s smart tourism software system” with the main modules including: Tourism portal; Smart Travel Mobile application (2 versions on iOS and Android); tourist digital map (digital basemap service and APIs related to basemap service); chatbox system, self-created tour system, schedule tours for visitors; system of analysis, evaluation and feedback on social networks about Quang Nam tourism; perform industry data digitization, build video clips and interactive visual features 3D, AR, VR, etc.

The implementation of “Quang Nam’s smart tourism software system” aims to contribute to improving the efficiency of state management, promoting tourism images for businesses, units, service tourism business establishments in the province and tourists.

The “Quang Nam’s smart tourism software system” has been piloted by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism since March 15, collecting comments from agencies, units, service tourism business establishments in the province and tourists.

With the agreement of the Provincial People’s Committee, “Quang Nam’s smart tourism software system” will be officially opend at the first Regional Traditional Craft Festival – Quang Nam 2022 on May 19, 2020, at website https://quangnamtourism.com.vn and Quang Nam Tourism app (on App Store and CH Play).
