The price of pork at local and traditional markets is at between 95,000 and 150,000 VND/kg, depending on the type.
According to small traders, the “softer” live hog price does not mean that the price of finished pork will decrease. By the fact, the price of pork, livestock materials… are affected by the price of gasoline.

Shrimp prices cooled down, sea crab prices increased
After increasing to 34,000 VND/kg, the price of pangasius decreased slightly at 32,000-33,000 VND/kg. Pangasius does not increase prices forever because other competitors are pollock and cod.
Meanwhile, the pressure to deliver goods to partners is no longer so seafood factories reduce the price of shrimp. The price of white-leg shrimp in the western provinces decreased from 1,000-5,000 VND for 20-100 shrimp/kg.
As noted by Zing, in contrast, the price of sea crabs in the western provinces is tending to increase slightly. The first-class brick crab in Ca Mau costs 500,000-550,000 VND/kg, the first-class meat crab (1-2 fish/kg) costs 400,000 VND, 3 crabs/kg costs 350,000 VND.
